Dr. Keith AkinsAnti-Defamation Leagueand Detective Cynthia HannaHate Crimes Outreach of San Diego
Dr. Keith Akins has been with ADL for over a year. He is an anthropologist who specializes in religious violence, terrorism, and organized hate. Detective Cynthia Hanna has been with the San Diego Police Department for eight years. She is currently a member of the Hate Crimes Registry and Hate Crimes Coalition. She specializes in the education of police officers and the military, but also works with high school students on issues such as racism, bigotry, and biases. Topics included:
