Crafting Human Security in an Insecure World

 

An international working conference to probe and address global acquiescence to impunity, gender violence and exclusion that continues to obstruct peacebuilding and deny human security.

Application Process:

There is a two-step process to participate in the conference:

Step One:
Application
(March 17 – Sept. 12, 2008) 
Note: ONLY accepted applicants will be invited to complete the second step (Registration and Conference Fee Payment).

Step Two:
Registration and Conference Fee Payment
(March 17 – Sept. 19, 2008) 
Accepted applicants will be notified by email and sent a link to complete the conference registration form and pay the conference fee.

Please complete the online application to the international working conference, "Crafting Human Security in an Insecure World." The program will be conducted in English and there is limited space available.  We will reserve spaces for international participants.  Applications to register for the conference will be accepted from March 17 to Sept. 12 or until all spaces are filled.  Applicants will be notified of their status by email on a rolling basis from March 17 to Sept. 19.

Successful applicants will be asked to proceed to step two and submit the conference registration form along with payment of conference fee, excluding travel and accommodations.

Please note that no funding or scholarships are currently available.

Early registration fees (until July 31st):

  • General Delegate - $180.00

  • NGO delegate from developing and conflict country - $100.00

  • Student Delegate - $60.00

 

New registration fees (starting on August 1st):

  • General Delegate - $200.00

  • NGO delegate from developing and conflict country - $100.00

  • Student Delegate - $90.00
